After flying my Cessna 414 Chancellor II for more than twenty years, it was time for a complete rejuvenation. All new avionics were planned to be followed up by new paint, boots and interior.

I choose Spirit Avionics to do the avionics. New instrument panels were fabricated using computer guided machines for exactness. All three instruments panels were finished with a durable bonded finish for resistance to scratching. Obsolete avionics were removed as well as existing avionics wiring. An immense amount of new wiring cables were meticulously installed using the high grade of materials. Most of the babbling was pre-planned using a harness board especially designed for my airplane. Even extra cables were placed in the harnessing for possible future needs.

As the work progressed and I witnessed the maze of wiring, I wondered if they could ever put things back together. The conscientious installers and technicians brought everything together with perfection.
